Yalham Hayes photoshoot

Last year, I was lucky enough to visualise and organise a photoshoot. The idea was a newly married couple, outside, sat at a dressed table and surrounded by beautiful flowers and toasting each other. The great British weather tried its best to ruin my vision but we made it work.

The very clever Aizel from Yalham Hayes planted some flower seeds on her flower farm in the hope that it would look how I imagined. The wet weather did mean that some flowers didn’t grow as well as we had hoped so we had to tweak the plans slightly. The rain was threatening us all day so we changed our plans and shot the photos in her barn. Luckily the weather did improve later that day and we managed some photos outside on her gorgeous farm.

Hairstylist Lizzie and make up artist Gillian worked so well together to get the right look to compliment the accessories provided by Clare.

Calligrapher Odetta, cake maker Claire and stylist Vickie also worked closely together to get the right look and feel for the theme that I wanted.

The real life married couple Harry and Amy and also the lovely Daisy wore dresses from Rookery Bridal and suits from Deanes of Cheddar.

All photos were taken by Jess at Petite Rose Captures.

We were also very lucky to be published in two wedding magazines The Big Southwest Wedding Magazine and Your Bristol and Somerset Wedding
