Sam
Sam is the face behind Wedding Regency and is the wedding planner and stylist. She started the business during lockdown and it has grown from there. She has a background in nursing and during Covid 19 everything was doom and gloom and then she lost a family member suddenly and unexpectedly. Sam thought she needed something positive and happy in her life and what is happier than a wedding! Sam then completed courses in wedding planning and coordination and began her business from there. She has since completed a course in wedding styling and the business is now fast growing and it is something that she loves doing. Sam will happliy talk about Wedding Regency and all things wedding all day long.
Sam loves bringing couples’ ideas together, finding out what is important to them and paying attention to detail in bringing their ideas to life and she loves seeing their happy faces on the wedding day when they see it all come together. She especially loves the toasts where she finds out all the funny stories and hears all the heart-warming stories too.
Sam has watched “F.R.I.E.N.D.S” so many times and her favourite wedding was Phoebe’s and Mike’s but her favourite proposal was Chandler’s and Monica’s…”There’s a reason why girls don’t do this”.
She has taken part in The Great North Run but didn’t train very well and decided to drink a gallon of water before setting off (didn’t drink water on training runs) and instantly regretted it. Ended up walking the whole half marathon due to feeling unwell. Not taken part in any running since! She loves going to the gym, camping with family, cruising and Scotland. If you don’t find her in her office planning weddings, you will find her planning a holiday.
Roxanne
Roxanne is Sam’s wedding assistant, and she is great at what she does. Her favourite part of the wedding is seeing it all come together on the day and being part of the team that makes someone’s dream day come alive. Roxanne and Sam laugh a lot when together, they are cousins and the best of friends too. She loves going on long walks with her two boys and seeing live bands. She has recently visited Iceland and saw the Northern Lights which she found to be an emotional experience. She is very supportive of her friends and family and comes across as a shy, timid quiet person…she isn’t so don’t be fooled :-) she is the best cousin though.
Together, Sam and Roxanne make the dream team and are sure to give you the best wedding day you could ever wish for.
And you can see, we both love chocolate crepes. These crepes were the absolute best at the end of busy wedding that we coordinated. We were happily exhausted and the wedding was a blast.
